Conditions A–M

Low or collapsed arches causing foot, ankle, shin and knee pain with standing and walking. Treated with foot intrinsic and calf strengthening, footwear advice and custom orthotics when structure needs support.

Burning pain or a feeling of a pebble under the forefoot, between the third and fourth toes, from a thickened nerve. Treated with footwear changes (wider toe box), metatarsal padding, custom orthotics and foot mobility work.

Aching or burning under the ball of the foot with standing and walking, from overload of the metatarsal heads. Treated with offloading padding, orthotics, calf mobility and footwear review.

Restoring range, strength, balance and walking after an ankle fracture once the cast or boot comes off. Early physiotherapy prevents lasting stiffness and limp.

Pain on the inside of the ankle and a progressively flattening arch, from a failing support tendon. Treated with loading exercise, orthotics and footwear; early treatment prevents progression to a rigid flat foot.

Small cracks in bone from repetitive load, usually in runners and new exercisers who increased volume too fast. Diagnosed by assessment and imaging, managed with offloading, then a graded return to impact with bone-loading strength.

Reduced balance, fear of falling and unsteadiness with age. Our gait and balance program improves strength, reaction and confidence, and reduces fall risk.

Our Patients Share Their Journey

After my motor vehicle accident, I was dealing with intense neck pain, lower back discomfort, and stiffness that made even simple movements difficult. Coming to Apollo Physio truly made a huge difference in my recovery journey. I received treatment from Vidhi, my physiotherapist, Janki, my massage therapist, and chiropractic care from Dr. Dhaliwal and I couldn’t have asked for a better team. Vidhi created a well-structured treatment plan and guided me through exercises that gradually improved my strength and mobility. She explained everything clearly and kept track of my progress at every step. Janki’s massage therapy sessions were incredibly helpful in reducing muscle tightness and relieving pain. After each session, I felt more relaxed and could move more freely. Chiropractic sessions with Dr. Dhaliwal were also a key part of my recovery. His adjustments helped improve my alignment and significantly reduced the stiffness and discomfort I was experiencing. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and made sure I was comfortable throughout each session. Within a few weeks, I noticed major improvements less pain, better movement, and a return to my normal daily routine. The combined approach of physiotherapy, massage, and chiropractic care really made the recovery process faster and more effective. The clinic is clean, well organized, and has a very positive and welcoming environment. The front desk staff are friendly and always helpful with booking and insurance related questions. I’m truly grateful to the entire team at Apollo Physio, especially Vidhi, Janki, and Dr. Dhaliwal, for their care and support. I highly recommend them to anyone recovering from a motor vehicle accident or dealing with pain they genuinely care and deliver excellent results.

Questions About Booking

About Foot & Ankle Conditions We Treat

A bony growth on the heel seen on X-ray, usually alongside plantar fasciitis. The spur itself is rarely the pain source; treatment targets the fascia with loading, orthotics and, if needed, shockwave.

A bony bump at the base of the big toe with the toe drifting inward, causing pain in shoes. Physiotherapy and orthotics reduce pain and slow progression through footwear, toe mobility and strengthening; surgery is a last resort.

An ankle that repeatedly rolls or gives way after past sprains. Treated with peroneal strengthening, balance and reaction training, and sport-specific drills; bracing supports the transition. See ankle sprains.

Pain along the outside of the ankle behind the bony bump, from overload of the tendons that stabilize the ankle, common after sprains. Treated with progressive loading, balance work and footwear review.

Heel pain in active kids aged 8–14 from the growth plate at the heel. Managed with load modification, calf stretching and strengthening, heel cups and footwear; it resolves with growth but treatment keeps kids in sport.

A sprain of the big toe joint from forced bending, common on artificial turf. Treated with protection, taping, then mobility and strength, and return-to-sport progression.
